Is there any easy way to hook up a nitrous system up to a truck with out haveing to replace every fuel injector? I have an 89 f-150 I'm wanting hook nitrous up to the passing gear so that when i'm hauling a load into the mountains that I can keep up with the traffic before the mountains and not get runned over. I really dont know how to do it but I have an idea , the people I have talked to at the local parts store they said i had to repace all the fuel injectors, I was wandering if their was a way to put them in the air intake? and if theres a web sight that has the cheeper brand than nos. any help is appreciated thanks josh

You can get a single jet to plumb into your intake boot just after the maf before the throttle body. If you don't have a chip to give you more timing, I wouldn't do it. I also wouldn't use a dry kit, get a good wet kit (Zex makes a great little kit). But I would really advise against using nitrous at all for what you need. That is a dangerous thing to mess with for long periods of time. Such as climbing a mountain with a trailer full of stuff. That is just asking for big trouble.

I believe your truck has a speed limiter built into the computer, set at 100 or a little higher. A good chip, ie superchips, or diablo should be able to clear that. A chip will also give you more power. A superchips tuner may give you more power than the chip.
