 Post subject: EFI Adjustment

I have an 87 toyota 4runner and it is running poorly. I have never messed with adjustments on fuel injection. Anybody know how???

what exactly is it doing? i'm a big toyota guy but i've never owned anything with a 22RE in it...you might want to check http://www.yotatech.com

well my troppers 2.6l was running rough and i got the timing in spec and it smoothed right out. Might be the same whith yours, try it.

probably dirty injectors, pull them out and have them cleaned/checked.

check you're fuel pressure, ignition components, fuel filter, vacuume leaks, and idle speed screw on the side of the throttle body. remove the screw and clean the carbon deposit off of it. these are neglected quite a bit and can cause idle problems
