Got the wheels on, and I washed the truck for the first time, in at least 10 years... Then I Purple Powered the interior for the first time in at least 10 years, then glass cleaner and interior wiped it out again. It should now be ready for a good detailing on the inside...
Also, I got the GM ECM mounted, after 7 years...

So my dad is buying this truck Sunday. He’s 71 years old and planning on making this his daily driver. :)

Got it home. It needs very little to be road ready.

The speedometer isn’t working and we’re not quite sure why. Terry had made some kind of adapter to connect the Nissan cable up to the 700r4 and everything appears to be hooked up properly, but the speedometer is dead. The cable could be broken somewhere I guess. The dash shows 240,000 miles on it so I suppose age could be a factor.

It was shifting quickly and softly, wouldn’t downshift on its own. Tightened up the throttle valve cable a little and it liked that.

Still need to figure out the AC. The compressor will need to be replaced. Going to have to find someone who can make some custom lines to hook the Nissan stuff up to the Chevy compressor. Terry got the electric fans on the motor side, so now we need to find a slim condenser to fit between the grille and radiator.

It’s fun to drive. Once we get the speedometer figured out dad will take it home. For now these guys are reunited and chilling in my shop. (Ignore the stuff in the luv bed. I’ve got about half of a 66 mustang back there while it’s at the body shop :p )
