i have a 72 elcamino with a 350 4bbl i am in need of a need of a new hei distributor what brand do yall think is the best i dont wont to spend over $225 on it the el is driven on the streets a lot it needs to preform great

I bought a hi-flo water pump from this ebay seller (http://stores.ebay.com/whiteperformance1), and the quality is really, really good. I've got about $400 of stuff from them on my watch list. I don't have any money to actually buy it, but I can watch, right?

Check it out, I am saving to buy this HEI myself, hope he has some left next month...

DUI performance is good for a stock type drop in. MSD's readyto run is fine also, but is more expensive than what you said you would go. Proform is crap...

And Nukeday, I got a box of goodies from whitesperformance today...

You can also get a new HEI through a GM performance dealer for less than 200.00 and they have a perfect adv. curve oh and they are the same as the one in the ZZ4 motors.
